SLR Architecture featured on TV show "Renovation Nation"

When the Renovation Nation producers were looking for an interesting green project to shoot in the Boston area they turned to SLR Architecture. Mr. Reilly was in the process of planning a unique green Studio to house his Architecture practice that intrigued the producers.

The concept was to build a small, efficient, studio with a combination of recycled and green materials. The studio will allow this young Architect to keep his business overhead low and remain close to his young family. Also it will reduce his commute time and expenses, and lower his carbon footprint.

Steve Thomas and his crew of 10 descended on thier home for 2 weekends in the late fall filming thier every move. The first weekend they were able to install the floor system and put up a wall, by the time the crew came back the next weekend all of the walls were up and the roof was in place. They were able to install roofing and a PIN foundation system with the crew, I can attest that the star of the show Steve Thomas even broke a sweat!
